Which app do I download to become a Zomato delivery boy?

Download Zomato Delivery Partner, published by Zomato on Google Play. The normal Zomato app is only for ordering food, and you can’t sign up as a rider in it.

Only install it from the Play Store. Sites that offer the “Zomato delivery APK” are not run by Zomato. A modified APK can steal your OTP, your bank details or your partner ID.

How do I sign up in the Zomato Delivery Partner app?

You sign up inside the app in four steps:

  1. Download the app from Google Play and open it.
  2. Enter your mobile number and the OTP, then fill in your name, city and the vehicle you’ll use (bike, scooter, EV or cycle).
  3. Upload your documents: clear photos of your Aadhaar, PAN, driving licence and bank details. The names on all of them should match exactly.
  4. Finish the online training in the app, collect your delivery kit, and go online to take your first order.

What documents do I need for the Zomato delivery app?

You need four things ready on your phone before you start:

Use original documents, not photocopies, and take photos in good light. Blurry photos and names that don’t match are the usual reasons verification fails.

Is there a joining fee in the Zomato delivery app?

Signing up in the app is free. Zomato charges a one-time amount for the delivery bag and T-shirts, and the app shows the exact amount for your city before you pay. In many cities it can be taken in small parts from your first payouts instead of paid upfront.

Pay only inside the app. Never pay an agent who promises to “make your Zomato ID”. Our Zomato joining fees guide covers what the kit includes.

What if I can’t log in or my ID is blocked?

Most login problems come from the OTP or the phone number. Log in with the same mobile number you signed up with, check your network, and update the app from the Play Store.

If your account says your ID is blocked or inactive, the usual causes are an expired document (licence, RC or insurance) or a long break from work. Update the document in the app, or follow our Zomato ID reactivation guide.
