Overview of the Delivery Partner Position
Zepto keeps the process consistent for every order: accept, pick up, deliver, confirm. Once you have done a few, it becomes routine. Because the zone around dark stores in VIT-Katpadi is small, delivery partners rarely ride far from the store during a shift. Depending on your hours and the demand in Vellore, monthly earnings for this role range from ₹24,000–₹30,000.
As a part-time role, it lets you pick a few hours a day in VIT-Katpadi and still get paid weekly by Zepto.
Responsibilities
- Inform support through the app if the customer is unreachable
- Confirm payment status in the app before leaving the customer
- Follow the delivery sequence in the app when carrying more than one order
- Follow the customer's delivery instructions in the app
- Use in-app navigation to plan the quickest safe route
- Follow all traffic rules and wear a helmet while riding
Eligibility Criteria
- PAN card
- Valid two-wheeler insurance
- Aadhaar or Voter ID card
- Bank account details (account number and IFSC)
- Address proof
- Two-wheeler with valid registration certificate (RC)
- Working mobile number for OTP verification
