Job Description
Swiggy Wants You as a Delivery Rider in Althan
Swiggy is on the lookout for reliable delivery riders to handle deliveries across Althan and nearby areas. Applications are open now.
You'll spend most of your shift moving through Althan and surrounding parts of Surat, handling one order at a time and keeping the Swiggy app updated as you go. Most delivery riders find they can complete a good number of orders in a single shift once they know the local streets. Pay runs ₹34,000–₹41,000 per month.
Responsibilities
- Handle order handovers and basic payment collection where applicable
- Pick up orders from designated restaurants promptly
- Confirm order details before leaving the pickup point
- Report issues (wrong address, order damage, delays) promptly through the app
- Use GPS navigation to plan efficient routes
- Follow traffic and safety regulations at all times
- Deliver orders safely within committed timelines
Eligibility Criteria
- PAN card
- Good communication
- Two-wheeler with valid RC and insurance
- Aadhar card
- Basic knowledge of local routes
- Willingness to work flexible shifts
Beyond the per-delivery earnings, delivery riders get weekly payouts, so you're never waiting long for your money. Many also qualify for performance bonuses once they build up a delivery history, and the flexible shift system means you can work around other commitments. Over time, consistent delivery riders in Althan tend to build a reliable weekly income rather than relying on one-off orders.
Deliveries under this role are concentrated in Althan and adjoining residential and commercial pockets of Surat. Staying local also means less time spent navigating unfamiliar routes.
