Each order is picked and packed by store staff; your job is to collect it from dark stores, ride to the customer, and hand it over quickly. Cold and frozen items need to reach the customer quickly, which is why short routes from dark stores matter in this role. Income for delivery riders here is around ₹30,000–₹38,000 per month, and it scales with the number of hours you put in.
The position is full-time, and Zepto expects delivery riders in Nagpur to work regular shifts through the week.
Responsibilities
- Reach the pickup point within the time shown in the app
- Collect packed grocery orders from dark stores as soon as they are ready
- Carry the order up stairs or lifts when required
- Keep the app updated at store pickup and at customer drop off
- Return undeliverable orders to dark stores as per the app's instructions
- Hand over the order politely and confirm delivery in the app
- Double check the drop address in the app before starting the ride
Eligibility Criteria
- Working mobile number for OTP verification
- Any valid government photo ID
- Two-wheeler driving licence issued by the RTO
- Passport size photograph for profile verification
- Own bike or scooter for deliveries
- Address proof
