Zomato is expanding its delivery boy team in Rasapunja to keep up with growing order volume across Kolkata. New partners are being onboarded on a rolling basis.
Job Description
You will handle one meal order at a time in most cases, with the app queuing the next pickup as soon as you complete a drop. Part of the appeal is control: you choose your working hours in the app and change them whenever your week changes. Partners in this role typically take home ₹21,000–₹26,000 per month, paid weekly by Zomato.
The position is part-time, and Zomato leaves it to delivery boys in Kolkata to decide which hours they work.
Responsibilities
- Keep your two-wheeler ready for back to back orders during peak hours
- Keep your phone reachable so the customer and support can contact you
- Reach the restaurant within the pickup time shown in the app
- Park safely outside restaurants and customer locations
- Maintain the delivery bag in clean, usable condition
- Complete the handover politely even when the customer is delayed
- Log deliveries as complete only after the customer has received the food
- Return undeliverable meals as per the app's instructions
Eligibility Criteria
- Working mobile number for OTP verification
- Valid driving licence
- Passport size photograph for profile verification
- Valid two-wheeler insurance
- Any valid government photo ID
- Bank account details (account number and IFSC)
- Two-wheeler with valid registration certificate (RC)
