How the Delivery Rider Role Works
The day to day is simple: go online in the Swiggy app, accept orders in and around Burrabazar, and complete each delivery within the expected time window. If a customer cannot be reached, the Swiggy app has a support flow to sort it out without leaving you stuck at the address. Typical monthly earnings are ₹35,000–₹45,000, based on the hours you choose and the volume of work in Burrabazar.
This is a full-time opening, best suited to delivery riders who can log consistent daily hours in Burrabazar.
Responsibilities
- Deliver orders without opening or tampering with the packaging
- Verify the order ID with staff at restaurants before collection
- Keep food away from direct sun or rain during the ride
- Follow the app's route unless a road is closed or unsafe
- Update the app if a customer asks to reschedule or cancel at the door
- Do not open or tamper with sealed food packaging
- Pick up orders from restaurants promptly once assigned

- Bank account details (account number and IFSC)
- Passport size photograph for profile verification
- PAN card
- Smartphone with GPS and a working data plan
- Working mobile number for OTP verification
