About the Delivery Boy Role
As a delivery boy for Zomato in Sector-29, you collect prepared meals from restaurants and deliver them to customers nearby while the food is still fresh. In-app partner support is available to delivery boys for issues that come up during a shift, from address problems to payout questions. Income for delivery boys here is around ₹24,000–₹30,000 per month, and it scales with the number of hours you put in.
As a full-time opening, this role rewards delivery boys who show up daily and stay online through the busiest windows in Sector-29.
Responsibilities
- Call the customer through the app if the address is hard to find
- Handle drinks, soups, and gravies carefully to avoid spills
- Verify the order ID with staff at restaurants before collection
- Communicate politely with customers at handover
- Be courteous to restaurant staff and customers on every order
- Handle cold or hot items so they stay in good condition until delivery
- Follow all traffic rules and wear a helmet while riding
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum age 18 years
- Vehicle documents (RC and insurance) in valid condition
- Active bank account for weekly payouts
- Own bike or scooter for deliveries
- Working mobile number for OTP verification
- Aadhaar card
- Smartphone with GPS and a working data plan
