The work is hands on: collect the order, secure it in your delivery bag, ride to the customer, and complete the handover politely. No prior food delivery experience is needed; Zomato's in-app training covers order handling, hygiene basics, and safe riding. You can expect ₹26,000–₹33,000 per month in this role, paid out in weekly instalments through the Zomato app.
The position is full-time, and Zomato expects delivery partners in Delhi to work regular shifts through the week.
Responsibilities
- Follow the app's route unless a road is closed or unsafe
- Handle fragile or spill-prone orders with extra care
- Keep the order upright and stable during the ride
- Use in-app navigation to plan the quickest safe route
- Respect building and society rules when delivering food inside gated premises
- Log deliveries as complete only after the customer has received the food
- Keep your two-wheeler ready for back to back orders during peak hours
- Handle drinks, soups, and gravies carefully to avoid spills
Eligibility Criteria
- Two-wheeler with valid registration certificate (RC)
- Valid two-wheeler insurance
- Any valid government photo ID
- Address proof
- PAN card
- Own bike or scooter for deliveries
- Active bank account for weekly payouts
