Job Description
Ride with Swiggy as a Delivery Boy in Edayarpalayam
If you already know the lanes of Edayarpalayam, that knowledge can turn into income as a Swiggy delivery boy.
A normal day might include a dozen or more short trips around Edayarpalayam, a few longer ones into neighbouring parts of Coimbatore, and short breaks between requests. How many trips you take is largely up to you. Food orders are best delivered hot, so riders are encouraged to head out as soon as the restaurant hands over the bag. Full time riders typically cover a longer daily shift and can plan their week around the busiest hours. Monthly earnings for this opening fall in the ₹26,000–₹35,000 range, varying with hours logged in.
On a Typical Shift
- Coordinate with restaurant staff when an order is delayed
- Report delays or order issues to support right away
- Look after your bike and delivery bag
- Pick up packed orders from nearby restaurants without delay
- Protect orders from rain, heat and spills
- Complete doorstep handovers politely and on time
- Plan short, efficient routes between pickups and drops
Eligibility
- Good communication
- Age 18+
- Valid driving licence
- Aadhar card
- PAN card
- Smartphone with internet access
Riders get access to accident insurance cover while on active trips, along with in-app support if something goes wrong on the road. It is a reasonable safety net for a job spent in traffic.
Edayarpalayam is one of the areas in Coimbatore where Swiggy regularly needs more riders, so new sign ups are welcome through the year.
