Zomato relies on delivery boys in Manivakkam to bridge the last mile between stores and customers, using the app for route planning and order updates. Most shifts run a few hours at a stretch, making it easy to fit around other commitments. Pay runs ₹21,000–₹27,000 per month.
Responsibilities
- Handle order handovers and basic payment collection where applicable
- Deliver orders safely within committed timelines
- Keep delivery gear and vehicle in good working condition
- Follow traffic and safety regulations at all times
- Keep the delivery app updated with real-time order status
- Report issues (wrong address, order damage, delays) promptly through the app
Eligibility Criteria
- Own bike/scooter or scooty
- Smartphone with internet access
- Valid driving licence
- Age 18+
- PAN card
- Good communication
- Two-wheeler with valid RC and insurance
