Swiggy Instamart is expanding its delivery boy team in Geddalahalli to keep up with growing order volume across Bengaluru. New partners are being onboarded on a rolling basis.
About the Delivery Boy Role
You confirm each order in the app, collect it from dark stores, and hand it over at the customer's address, keeping the status updated as you go. Most grocery orders travel only a couple of kilometres, so delivery boys spend more time delivering and less time riding empty. ₹34,000–₹42,000 per month is the expected earning range for this position, with peak-time incentives adding to it.
As a full-time delivery boy, you would treat this as your primary job, with hours spread across the day in Geddalahalli.
Responsibilities
- Double check the drop address in the app before starting the ride
- Accept orders promptly when they appear in the app
- Follow safety guidelines shared during onboarding on every shift
- Keep the app open and location on throughout the shift
- Handle cold and frozen items quickly so they stay at the right temperature
- Do not open or tamper with sealed order bags
- Keep your phone reachable so the customer and support can contact you
- Ride at a safe speed even when the delivery window is tight
Eligibility Criteria
- Age 18 or above
- PAN card
- Valid two-wheeler insurance
- Any valid government photo ID
- Passport size photograph for profile verification
- Own bike or scooter for deliveries
- Android smartphone with an active internet connection
