Meal deliveries in Ghodasar are handled by Zomato delivery riders on two-wheelers. Part-time openings are available now.
Overview of the Delivery Rider Position
Each order starts at one of the restaurants in Ghodasar: confirm the order ID with staff, pack it into your insulated bag, and ride to the customer. If a customer cannot be reached, the Zomato app has a support flow to sort it out without leaving you stuck at the address. Income for delivery riders here is around ₹24,000–₹30,000 per month, and it scales with the number of hours you put in.
As this is a part-time opening, it suits people who want supplementary income from work close to home.
Responsibilities
- Hand over orders directly to the customer or as instructed
- Inform support through the app if the restaurant is running late
- Follow basic food hygiene practices while handling orders
- Secure the order in the delivery bag before riding
- Treat staff at restaurants and customers with courtesy
- Keep the insulated bag closed while riding to hold the temperature
- Check that the order is sealed and complete before leaving restaurants
- Follow the delivery sequence shown in the app when carrying multiple orders
Eligibility Criteria
- Valid driving licence
- Own two-wheeler (bike or scooter)
- Any valid government photo ID
- Valid two-wheeler insurance
- Android smartphone with an active internet connection
- Age 18 or above
- Address proof
