Which app is used for Swiggy delivery partner?
For food deliveries, use the Swiggy Delivery Partner App, published by Swiggy on Google Play. The normal Swiggy app is only for ordering, and the Swiggy Partner App is for restaurant owners, so neither one signs you up as a rider.
Install only from Google Play, and check that the developer name says Swiggy. Many download sites show up when you search for the app, but none of them is Swiggy. An APK from them may be old or changed, and you would be typing your OTP and bank details into it.
On an iPhone? Swiggy’s rider website links only to Google Play, and Swiggy’s account on Apple’s App Store has no delivery partner app. Plan to use an Android phone.
How can I become a Swiggy delivery partner?
You join Swiggy inside the app in four steps, and Swiggy says onboarding can be done within 24 hours:
- Download the app. Install the Swiggy Delivery Partner App, free on Google Play, and open it.
- Sign up with your number. Enter your name, city and mobile number, and confirm it with the OTP Swiggy sends.
- Upload your documents. Aadhaar, PAN, licence and bank details. Take clear photos, and make sure your name is the same on all of them.
- Get your bag and T-shirt. Swiggy’s website says the kit can be delivered to your home. Then go online and take orders.

What documents do I need for the Swiggy delivery partner app?
Swiggy’s Play Store listing says you only need to submit your Aadhaar to get started. Its rider website lists the full set, and says you can share any missing ones later:
- Aadhaar card, or a Voter ID card
- PAN card
- Driving licence, if you’ll ride a bike or scooter (not needed for a cycle)
- Bank account details, where your payouts go
You also need to be at least 18. No vehicle? The app lets you rent an electric vehicle or apply for a lower-cost vehicle loan, and Swiggy’s website says it may connect you with vendors who rent bikes, e-bikes and cycles.
How do I log in to the Swiggy delivery partner app?
Open the app and log in with the same mobile number you signed up with, then enter the OTP sent to it. If you searched for “Swiggy partner login”, note that partner.swiggy.com is the login for restaurants, not riders.
If you can’t log in:
- Check that you’re using the number you registered with, and that the SIM is in your phone and has signal.
- Update the app from Google Play.

How much can I earn with the Swiggy delivery partner app?
Swiggy’s own pages give two different figures: its rider website says up to ₹30,000 a month, and its Play Store listing says up to ₹60,000. Both are “up to” amounts, not a salary. Swiggy’s FAQ says your earnings depend on your city and the number of orders you deliver.
The Play Store listing also advertises a joining bonus of up to ₹10,000, paid after you finish onboarding and go live. It doesn’t give the conditions, so don’t plan around the full amount.

- There’s an onboarding fee. Swiggy’s website puts it at about ₹1,500, depending on the city, cut from your payouts in instalments after you join.
- It’s not a salaried job. Swiggy calls it a paid partnership: you’re paid for the deliveries you complete, so slow days mean less money.
- Running costs are yours. Fuel, phone data and servicing come out of your earnings, and so does the rent if you take an EV through the app.

Yes. Swiggy’s Play Store listing says there are no fixed shifts and no minimum hours, so you can go online for two hours and then log off. You’re paid per order, with peak-time bonuses on top, so which two hours you pick changes what you earn.
Can I run Swiggy from home?
Not as a delivery partner. Riders collect orders from restaurants and ride to customers, so the work is on the road, though Swiggy’s website says you can work in your own area. If you mean selling food from your own kitchen, that’s Swiggy’s restaurant side and the Swiggy Partner App, not the rider app.
